Counselling Sessions

Sitting in a room, supported by an effective counsellor who listens whole-heartedly while you share the story of your life can change everything.  It is the nurturing of a renewed relationship with your life.  The gift of confidentiality and a trusted counsellor give the freedom to re-invent, to re-create and to re-imagine how you might like your life to look, without any fear of judgement.




A kinder and gentler word for homework...  You are in a counselling session for an hour every week or two, but  the challenge of changing your life toward the life you want happens, on some level, 24/7.  Often  at the end of a session we may collaborate in coming up with some heartwork for you.  It may be related to self-care or addressing a specific life challenge, and often it will be something unique inspired in the moment.  



This is a good time to remember loving, compassionate self-care.  It may be meditation or it may be working out, it may be spending quality time with loved ones, or it may be going to the movies. Whatever nurtures you the most as you do this work of self-exploration... As you do the work, we will regularly check in on self-care (which gets away from us so easily sometimes!) to make sure the process remains a gentle and affirmative one.
